Cheap necklace

I know I suck at posting on here but I have been so busy with work and classes. I wish I could say it will get better but it's just getting started. Everything is going pretty good.
My grandmother and I went shopping last week. We bought a lot of stuff. We havn't been shopping in years so we were just making up for lost time.
While I was her house she was showing me all the old beads that she had. She wanted to give me all of them but I just took a few. I also had this leaf pendent that I got for free some Fire Mnt. I made a necklace out of all of the stuff I got for free. This was the cheapest necklace I have ever made!!! One of these days I'll get better pictures

Cheap necklace

It's all about the music

I've been burning my songs on Cds. I have the normal teen bands like The Killers, The Frey, PCD, JT, Death Cab for Cutie, and John Mayer. Then I have the good music like BB King, Bonnie Rhaitt, Springsteen, Bob Dylan (his new cd rocks), Rolling Stones, The Eagles, and Dave Matthews. I love music.

I had to cut Marry-Go and Annie's mane off. :'( I can cut Marry-Go's off....she is always getting into sticky bushes and messing it up. Annie took very good care of hers, she never got anything in it. It will grow back...I hope.

I made a pink and blue necklace yesterday. It's very simple but for some odd reason I like it a lot.

I ran out of beads

For about a week I didn't have any beads what so ever!!! Finally, I got the chance and the money to run out and pick up some things.
I made this pearl necklace with rhineston rondelle. I have a tiny neck so I was able to make it smaller.














With the left over pearls I made a bracelet. I also used pink crystals.
















I have been so busy with work and dance. I was at the studio every day this week but wedesday. It's good to be busy...keeps me out of trouble :P

Black Monday

When I was 2 years old there was a little girl who live in our apparment. She had this mutilcolored kitty cat that she was very mean to. One day when we opened our door there was that cat. My mom took him. We named him scooter.
Scooter has moved 3 times, lost 2 cat buddies, and gained 4. He has been in countless numbers of fights and killed millions of mice. Last year he started to lose his sight, but he kept on fighting other cats. Then he went blind and was still active.
Monday night I came home from dance class to find out my beloved cat had passed away in our back yard while I was away. His death has been the hardest animal death in my life. I sure do miss my little pussy cat...he was a good cat

Changes

I've changed a few things about my blog. I got a new skin and a tag board. MAKE USE OF THE TAG BOARD!! Haha anyway, I like the new look. It's all Hollywood glam and that's so me.

I finally got around to making my grandmother's necklace. I hate being lazy and not taking the time to do things I love. I wish Christmas was closer so I can give it to her. She will love it!!















One of these days I will take better picture of these. I might get my little sister to model them for me.

Late night beading

I finally got pictures of Toby's necklace. He really likes wearing it, he likes it better then his old flea collar. He is a sleep on my lap right now.






























Last night my friend was sick and was in the ER. So I stayed up a bit later to see if he made it home ok. To keep my minds off of things I made another necklace. I used the rest of the beads I used on my sister's necklace, I just have some black left.















When I showed my grandmother my beads she was shocked. The first thing she pulled out was the hand I bought for her necklace. I told her that I was using it for a necklace I was going to make my mom. She told me I should try and sell my things...I don't think my things are good enough to sell.

Bug bites and dog necklace

I just made a dog necklace for my doggie. I used the left over beads from my B-day necklace and put purse and shoe charm on it. I'll have to take a picture of it and post it. He looks super cute....and very gay. Ok so my poodle is a crossdresser....I don't care, I'm very proud of him!

As I was sitting there making my necklace a bug started to bite my leg. Now I have tiny bumps on the back of my leg and they itch like mad!!

Two new books

My sister, Mary, bought me two new bead books. I stayed up looking at them.

The first one is called 'Beadwork.' It has a lot of pretty stuff inside. Their not much on how to's but it gave me tons of new ideas!! Now I don't know what I want to do anymore, hahaha.

The second one is call ' Step by Step Jewelry, Gifts for the Holidays.' I don't like the ideas in this one as much but I'm not big on holiday jewerly. The how to's in this book is wonderful. They taught me how to make a wrapped loop, which I was wanting to know how to do. With the new tips I learned from this magazine my jewelry will improve.

In other news: my horse, Marry-Go, jumped over the fence and got stuck in the other field. Marry-Go has a partner named Annie. Poor Annie was worried about Marry-Go. When Marry-Go got back to Annie, Annie was mad at her and would ran away from her. Haha they are so funny together. The other one can't live without the other one but they fight all the time.

I'm going over to my grandparents' house today, I have to get my car fixed and they live near the place I get it worked on. I might stay the night there, I need to get out of the house for a bit. My grandmother is a very artsy lady, I can't wait to see what all she has at her house. Everytime I go over there I spend most of my time looking at her stuff. We will look for hours and hours. Then the next day we will look at the same things for hours and hours.
